This Privacy Policy explains how the CourierFinance app ("the App") collects, uses, and stores information.

Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of this policy.

1. Core Principle - Local Usage

By default, the App operates using local storage only. A user who does not sign in with a Google account can use all of the App's core functionality (recording income, expenses, vehicles, and reports) without any of this data ever leaving their device. Local financial data is not sent to the App operator's servers.

Additional information (detailed below) is collected only if the user chooses to sign in with a Google account, for example for in-app purchases.

2. Information Collected

Information stored on the device only (not sent to a server):

• Income and expense records
• Vehicle data and maintenance tracking
• User settings and preferences (such as theme)

Information collected only if the user signs in with a Google account:

• Username and email address (as received from Google)
• User ID (UID)
• Date of last sign-in
• In-app purchase status (e.g., ad removal, Pro subscription)

Additional technical information:

• If the user chooses to report an issue (via "Report a Problem" in settings), basic technical information related to the issue may be sent.
• To send local notifications (such as a reminder about an unconfirmed payment), the App requests the device's notification permission. This permission is used solely to send notifications created by the App itself, and does not allow the App to read notifications from other apps.

Information the App does not collect:
As of the current date, the App does not collect: GPS location, passwords, credit card details, contacts, or private messages, and does not use an accessibility service or read information from other apps' screens.

3. Advertising

The App does not display ads as of the current version. Ads may be added in the future via a third-party advertising network (Google AdMob). If this is added:

• The advertising provider may collect standard technical identifiers (such as the device's advertising ID) to display and personalize ads, in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
• Users in regions requiring explicit consent (such as the European Union) will be shown an appropriate consent request in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• A user who purchases ad removal will not be shown any ads.

This Privacy Policy will be explicitly updated at the time ads are actually put into use.

4. Purpose of Use

The information (to the extent collected) is used for:

• Operating the App and displaying the data the user entered
• Managing the user's account and in-app purchases
• Saving user settings
• Improving the App's performance and stability, and diagnosing issues

5. Google Sign-In

The App allows optional sign-in via a Google account, primarily to save purchases (such as ad removal) and restore them when switching devices. This provides basic account information (name, email address). This sign-in method is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Signing in with Google is not required to use the App's core functionality.

6. Data Storage

Financial data (income, expenses, vehicles) is stored on the user's device only.

Account information (if the user signed in with Google) is stored on Google Firebase servers, and is used solely for account and purchase management.

The App operator retains information only for as long as necessary to operate the service and comply with legal requirements.

7. Data Sharing

• The App does not sell personal information to third parties.
• The App does not share personal information with delivery companies (and does not communicate with them at all).
• The user's email address and personal information are not rented or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes.
• Exception: if ads are added (see Section 3), standard technical identifiers will be shared with the advertising provider solely to operate the advertising service.

8. Data Deletion

The App includes built-in tools for deleting local data, under Settings → Tools:

• Deleting income and expense records only (vehicles and categories are kept).
• A full reset of all local data.

Both actions are immediate and irreversible.

If the user signed in with a Google account and wishes to delete their cloud account data, they may contact the App operator at the email listed in Section 11.

9. Data Security

The App operator employs reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect information. However, absolute protection against unauthorized access, security incidents, or events beyond the App operator's control cannot be guaranteed.

10. Policy Changes

The App operator may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly when new features are added (such as advertising). Continued use of the App after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
